As part of the activities related to the Erasmus Plus “Jean Monet” project, the 2mb class of the Liceo Musicale “Francesco Petrarca” worked on the environmental goals of the European Agenda 2030 and carried out a laboratory activity, a reality task, on respect for Nature in their own living environment, linked to the disciplines of Geography and Civic Education, led by prof. Domenico Iasiello. On April 22, the students, equipped with biodegradable gloves and garbage bags, cleaned up all the spaces around the school building and the nearby gardens. This activity has made them very responsible for the care of common goods and has increased their environmental civic awareness. Furthermore, it had a social impact on the citizens of Arezzo who saw many young people attentive to the city and was able to reflect on their own attitude towards the shared city space. The teacher insisted a lot on the concept of European citizenship and of shared conscience with all Europeans: every city is a European city and we are all citizens of the world.
